Registration Information

To utilize this website, both AdvisU Clients and AdvisU Experts are required to first fill in the registration form correctly. Throughout registration we ask users to provide their contact information, including name and email address. This information is collected for the purpose of contacting the user regarding the services on our site for which they have indicated interest, and is also utilized as the user's sign in information. Users are able to decide if to provide further personalized information (such as experience and qualifications) and unique identifiers (such as a screen name) or not, but if you provide those mentioned above, we are able to furnish a more personalized experience on our site. Throughout the Registration process, you have the choice to "opt-out" of receiving AdvisU newsletters and promotions.

Services Through the Site

We categorize users of our service into two kinds, Clients and Experts (you are able to signup as both a Client and an Expert). Client-Expert Communication Using the AdvisU Service

The aim of AdvisU is to let registered AdvisU Experts to furnish Clients with services that the Clients look for. Experts and Members are able to arrange and conclude a deal for a service utilizing the AdvisU site. Certain communications may be recorded and kept by AdvisU. AdvisU does not filter or edit the content of communications between Clients and Experts. Such communications are personal and private unless both parties consent to further distribution, for instance by posting questions or services on the Public Board (described later). Information that is shared between the Client and the Expert throughout either the arrangement phase of their relationship or throughout the actual relaying of service is kept fully confidential, and no other users of AdvisU can access this information.

Publicly Accessible Information

AdvisU makes a Public Board accessible to its signed up users. The Public Board lets Clients to post queries or service requests and any Experts are able to view such posts. Clients are able to post requests under anonymity if they want. They also determine the length of time they want to have their queries kept "in view" on the public board. All postings, descriptions, etc., are open to registered Clients and Experts until a Client conclude a personal deal with an Expert, after the Expert has answered the public question with an initial offer and the Client responds to the Expert. All subsequent communications between the Client and Expert, including both the negotiation phase and the actual relaying of service, are kept confidential. AdvisU deliberately signify to its users which communications are open to all registered users and those that are viewable to a specific, individual user only.

Cookies

A cookie is a piece of data kept on the user's hard drive with information about the user. Application of a cookie is none of the time linked to any personal information whilst on our site. Once the user shuts their browser, the cookie will be concluded. For example, by establishing a cookie on our site, there would be no need for user to sign in his/ her email and password more than once, thus saving time whilst on our site. If a user does not accept the cookie, he/she is able to still utilize our site. The only disadvantage of this is that the user is going to need to sign in each time he/she visits the site. Cookies give us the opportunity to follow and target the interests of our users to improve the experience on our site.

Signed up users are not allowed to use information gathered via a AdvisU transaction to sell any merchandises or services for any commercial purpose outside the scope of the AdvisU service. Email addresses and personal information may not be utilized to forward surveys contests, pyramid schemes or chain letters, or to post the same message in a repetitive manner (a practice referred to as "spamming"). AdvisU may end the capability of any Client or Expert to use the AdvisU service.

Sharing

We at this point do not share total demographic information with our associates and advertisers, but we can and there is a chance that we are going to do so in the future. You must be aware that AdvisU is not accountable for the privacy practices of such other sites. We urge our users to be aware when they leave our site and to go over thoroughly the privacy statements of each and every web site that gathers individual information. Tell-A-Friend

If a user decide to utilize our referral service for introducing our site to a friend, we request them to provide us with the friend's name and email address. AdvisU is going to automatically send the friend a one-time email in order to welcome them to visit the site. AdvisU keeps this information for the exclusive purpose of sending this one-time email. If the friend wishes to remove this information from their database, he/she can do so by contacting AdvisU at service@AdvisU.com.

Security We Provide

This website takes precautionary measures to guard our users' information. When our registration form requests users to provide private information (such as a credit card number), that information is ciphered.
